About the Program

Direct Answer

No. The RE-Member OTC is not therapy, and we do not position it as therapy. There are no therapists delivering clinical treatment, no diagnoses, and no medical records generated.

What we do is peer-facilitated memory integration, identity reclamation and moral processing — delivered by operators, for operators. The environment is structured, the methodology is evidence-based, and the outcomes are real. But the frame is operator maintenance, not clinical care.

If you need clinical treatment, we will help connect you with appropriate resources. That is not what this program is.

Direct Answer

Seven days at an outdoor residential facility in a small cohort of no more than 12 operators. The week is organized around five domains: neurobiological stabilization (D1), memory integration through the Narrative Dialysis Protocol (D2), identity reclamation through the Exchange (D3), moral injury and soul wound processing through the Soul-AAR (D4), and relational and operational reintegration through the Vovkulak Model (D5).

Days involve a mix of structured physical activities, somatic regulation work, individual writing sessions, group processing, and protected rest windows. The program closes with the Parting Glass ritual and your Forward Operating Plan in hand.

You can see the full day-by-day structure on the Programs page.

Direct Answer

No one is required to disclose anything they are not ready to share. The writing protocols are private by default — what you write is yours. Group sessions are built around shared themes, not compelled confession.

That said: the methodology works because participants engage with it. The more you bring to the process, the more you get out of it. Facilitators create the conditions for that to happen at your pace, not on a timeline imposed from outside.

Direct Answer

No more than 12 participants per event. This is a hard limit, not a target. Small cohort size is a deliberate design choice — it is what makes the peer trust architecture work.

You will not be in a conference hall with strangers. You will be with a small group of people who have been vetted, share a relevant operational background, and are there for the same reason you are.

Direct Answer

Operators. The RE-Member OTC is peer-facilitated by SOF veterans who have been through the methodology themselves and received specific domain-level preparation. This is intentional and non-negotiable — cultural credibility cannot be outsourced.

Eligibility & Access

Direct Answer

The RE-Member OTC is designed for Special Operations personnel — U.S. and multinational. Both active duty and veterans are eligible. The program is built for people who have operated in high-tempo, high-stakes environments and are carrying the cumulative weight of that experience.

If you are unsure whether you qualify, contact us directly and we will give you a straight answer.

Direct Answer

Zero cost to participants — ever. The RE-Member OTC will always be free for the operators and veterans we serve. Travel, lodging, meals, and all program materials are covered.

The program is funded entirely through donations, grants, and organizational partnerships. If cost has been a barrier, remove it from your calculus.

Direct Answer

Yes. Active duty personnel are eligible and welcome. PGF is a civilian nonprofit — entirely outside the military system. Attending has no bearing on your service record, your command, or your chain of command.

You will need to coordinate leave through your unit, but participation in this program is no different from any other personal activity on your own time.

Direct Answer

Yes. This is designed for you. If you are with a European formation and want to explore partnership opportunities, contact us here.

Privacy & Security

Direct Answer

No. PGF is a civilian nonprofit that operates entirely outside the military and government systems. We have no reporting relationship to any command, agency, or federal database.

Attending this program is not disclosable on SF-86 or any other security clearance documentation. It is a private activity with a private civilian organization — no different in that respect from attending any other personal development program on your own time.

Direct Answer

Yes. What you share in program sessions stays within the program. Facilitators operate under strict confidentiality guidelines, and peer participants are held to the same standard as a condition of attendance.

The only exceptions are the standard safety exceptions that apply in any context: if there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, appropriate action will be taken. Outside of that, your participation is private.

Direct Answer

We collect pre- and post-program outcome data using validated instruments (PCL-5 and MIDS/MISS-M). All data is anonymized and protected under HIPAA standards.

Outcome data is used solely for program evaluation and improvement — and, in aggregate and anonymized form, for grant reporting and research publication. No individually identifiable data is shared with any third party, and no data is accessible to any military, government, or employer entity.

Your writing during the program is yours. It is not collected, stored, or reviewed by anyone without your explicit consent.

Direct Answer

No. PGF has no mechanism, relationship, or reporting pathway to any branch of service, government agency, or employer. Attendance is entirely private.

We do not notify your command, your unit, or any other military entity that you have participated unless it was your command that referred you to us. What you do on your own time with a private civilian organization is yours.

Logistics

Direct Answer

Full location details are provided to accepted participants. Travel logistics and support are coordinated after acceptance.

Direct Answer

A complete packing list is provided to accepted participants. The general requirement is clothing appropriate for outdoor activity in a field environment — comfortable, functional, nothing special required. All program materials, meals, and lodging are provided.

Leave the performance gear at home. You are not here to demonstrate anything.

Direct Answer

Phones are permitted. Use during structured program activities is discouraged or restricted depending on the specific session — the reasons for that will be obvious when you are in it.

You will always have a way to be reached in an emergency, and you will always be able to contact home if needed. We are not asking you to go dark.

Direct Answer

This is not a selection event. Physical activity is part of the program's neurobiological stabilization protocol — movement as a tool for nervous system regulation, not performance assessment.

Expect outdoor walks, light physical activity, and time in nature. Nothing that would exclude someone recovering from injury or operating at reduced physical capacity. If you have specific physical limitations, let us know during the application process and we will accommodate them.

After Day 7

Direct Answer

You will leave with a personal maintenance framework, the tools you used during the week, and connection to your cohort.

We are building out a structured follow-on support model — including peer check-ins and clinical referral pathways for those who want to continue working with a provider. More details on post-program continuity will be communicated to participants directly.

Direct Answer

Cohort bonds formed during the program are real, and we build infrastructure to sustain them. Alumni connection and peer network structure are part of the program design — details are communicated to participants and continue to develop as the organization grows.

The peer trust built in 7 days does not have to end at the gate on Day 7.

Direct Answer

At this time we are not taking direct applications but are working through partner organizations. Future open cohorts may be available. You can always contact us here and we will evaluate opportunities on a case by case basis.
